As one of ENRICH’s primary missions is to ensure that current and ongoing professional development opportunities include provisions for meeting the needs of students with disabilities, Project ENRICH has developed partnerships with the following projects:
ENRICH is a project of Technology and Innovations in Education in cooperation with the South Dakota State Department of Education.
Through Project ENRICH, Aims participants will be provided the opportunity to receive one graduate credit as they work towards developing an understanding of how to meet the needs of diverse learners in an inquiry based learning environment and in the math content area.
American History in the Black Hills . Through Project ENRICH, American History teachers participating will have an embedded theme of developing an understanding of how to meet the needs of diverse learners in an Socratic learning environment
Every Teacher participants, mentors, and paraprofessionals will receive, as part of their ongoing professional development, support and information on effective instructional strategies for students with disabilities.
SDESA Region 7 - Black Hills and SDESA Region 6 - Three Rivers: Project ENRICH is supported under the umbrella of the Educational Service Agency concept in Region 7 and Region 6. This support includes dissemination of information, facilitated collaboration among schools and districts, and follow up support to participants in the classrooms.
The South Dakota Parent Connection and the South Dakota Parent Resource Network. Project Enrich is partnering with these exisiting parent support organization to ensure the coordination of activities that best meet the needs of students with disabilities.
